So I took it back to the official service as always of course, since July 2020 my laptop has been with them until December 2020 when I decide to ship it to a dell authorized service in Switzerland, it's been there since January 2021, still no answer from them if they can fix it anymore. After the expiry of the extended premium warranty which by the way nothing is premium apparently but anyway, the GPU guess what? It broke again. The GPU of my laptop was replaced 3 times so far, and according to their marketing if you have 3 major components replaced you are eligible for a replacement, well that's a lie as well. I have purchased an Alienware M17, while in warranty besides the fact that the customer support premium service is a complete lie, it took over one month to get another GPU shipped, each time. I’ll gladly remove my review once they take responsibility for their actions.
This is a $4 000 computer! I’m giving them 1 week to come up with a solution or I’m suing them. When I call Dell, they hang up the phone on me or transfer me to somebody else constantly and everybody seems more lost than the person before. The distortion I was originally hearing is louder and stronger + the screen is frozen on a white page on a black background… The computer is totally unusable at this point and it’s brand new. They shipped it back 2 months later… still not fixed. I shipped it to one of their repair centers. A technician came to my house, couldn’t fix it. I spent well over 50 hours of my own time fixing it following Dell’s instructions through phone calls and What’s App conversations. It’s been close to 6 months now that I’m dealing back and forth with Dell to have it fixed.
